The Athenaeum is full of rare and mystical books and artifacts, and while it would normally be a dream to someone like her, Sophia quickly learns that there are dark secrets lurking in the shadows. And though she discovers family she never knew she had, she has a difficult time figuring out who she can trust, and who could very well be seeking to end the work the Athenaeum has done for millennia.
